Bee's Knees
For many years the Bee's knees was thought to have its origin in America during the prohibition when it was said that lemon juice and honey masked poorly quality of gin. However, it was later stated that this cocktail goes back to rich American millionairess partying Paris.
"The Bee's Knees is an invention of Mrs JJ Brown of Denver and Paris, widow of the famous miner, and is a rather sweet combination including honey and lemon."
