El Presidente

This drink was mentioned for the first time (that we know of) in a book called Manual del Cantinero published in Havana in 1915, but it might have been around a lot longer than that. It's been called a "Cubanized answer to the Manhattan" and is a delicate and subtly citrus fresh cocktail made with rum and vermouth in a harmonious combination.
