Kir Royale

Looking for some drink inspiration for New Years eve? This French classic is easy to make, and even easier to drink.

This cocktail is a sparkling version of the Kir Apéritif, believed to have been made in 1904 at the Café George in Dijon, France. A true favourite through the years, for very good reasons.

Ingredients

• 20ml Crème de Cassis or blackcurrant syrup

• 120ml Champagne or Prosecco

How to:

Pour the syrup in a champagne flute, top with sparkling wine. Serve.
